The Wytham Studio

Robin Wilson and Rosie Fairfax-Cholmeley set up the Wytham Studio in 2012 in the heart of the University of Oxford's research woodlands. They are tutors in printmaking at the Bodleian Library Bibliographic Press and Rosie is also an art teacher in Oxford, while Robin is an Anthropologist studying craft, creativity and art.

Their own practice is a mixture of text and images created using moveable wood and lead letterpress type or carved with gouges into lino or wooden blocks, then printed out on one of their various presses. At their workshop in the centre of Oxford they work on Vandercook and Heidelberg presses of various types and sizes.
