The colours and forms included in this collection of wall hangings by Emily Marston are inspired by water, sky and her local landscape. In particular, daily walks to the river in Oxford. She uses the grounding quality of clay to explore ideas of flow, balance and connection to nature.
These works are created with fine layers of hand-coloured clay that shift as the piece is rolled into shape, hinting at movement across the surface. Circles often feature in Emily's work as symbols of continuity and the cycle of seasons and nature.
Each work comes ready to hang with a fitting integrated into the piece.

Each piece is made carefully by hand which means that they are all unique. By their nature they may reveal small imperfections which are all part of their handmade character.
Emily is committed to working responsibly as a maker and she makes conscious decisions in every part of her process. Each piece is mindfully made in her garden studio, and fired using 100% renewable energy. All packaging is plastic free and reusable or recyclable.
SHIPPING AND DISPATCH
Orders take 1-3 working days to dispatch, and will generally be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Greetings cards will be sent via second class post (2-5 working days).
