Wood engraving print by Duncan Montgomery. Part of a collaboration with cultural historian George Townsend, exploring the history of public bathing in the ponds on Hampstead Heath and at Parson’s Pleasure on the River Cherwell in Oxford.
This print features an imaginary ticket for the now-defunct male bathing place of Parson's Pleasure, which features wording from two real tickets, both believed to date from the late nineteenth to mid-twentieth century.
