Drawn to expanses of water, sky and land, and the interaction of light upon them, Emily's work captures a moment in the continual change in the natural world, and the parallels with human emotion.Drift is an abstract view that responds to this cycle, and forms part of an ongoing series of land, water and skyscapes.
The making process is intuitive and reflects the desire to create works that have elements of calm, presence and flow. Emily works by intricately layering, cutting and reconfiguring coloured clay to form patterned slabs. Each piece is then created by building up and collaging sections of these slabs, before they’re rolled into shape.
Circles often feature in Emily’s work as symbols of continuity and the cycle of seasons and nature.

SHIPPING AND DISPATCH
Orders take 1-3 working days to dispatch, and will generally be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48. Greetings cards will be sent via second class post (2-5 working days).
