This delicate porcelain pendant by Emily Marston is handmade and completely unique. It is made up of fine, polished hand coloured porcelain.
Circles often feature in Emily's work as symbols of continuity and the cycle of seasons and nature. It is designed and made in her studio in Oxford, and because of the making process, each pendant is a one-off. The photograph is an example of the colourway and may differ slightly from the one you receive.
Emily uses coloured pigments mixed with white porcelain to create colours and patterns within the circles. This pendant is hand cut from black and ochre coloured porcelain clay and polished to a smooth, tactile finish. The circle sits on a recycled sterling silver chain.

Care Instructions:
If any marks get onto your pendant, you can wash them off with soap and water, removing the pendant from the chain beforehand.
The pendant is fired to a high temperature and is a strong material. However, it can still be fragile if dropped onto a hard surface, so it's recommended that you put on and take off your jewellery over a soft surface.
There may be subtle differences in the finished surface of the piece, as it is carefully handmade and goes through many processes, adding to the character and individuality of the pendant.
Emily is committed to working responsibly as a maker and she makes conscious decisions in every part of her process. Each piece is mindfully made in her garden studio, and fired using 100% renewable energy. All packaging is plastic free and reusable or recyclable.
